Table is very attractive -- nice hardwood grain. The wood is solid, except for the curved side pieces, which is curved plywood with thin layer of wood laminate. Construction is solid. Very easy to put together, with smart screw system. No need to glue. Pieces that needed to be glued are already assembled. Nice project for those without a lot of wood working tools / clamps, etc. Just need sandpaper, stain, and polyurethane. The wood is already quite smooth, but I did 2 sandings (120 and 180 grit), then stained and refinished with multiple coats of polyurethane and sanded with wet and dry sandpaper in between coats, to get a nice finish. I find it easier to stain and poly the pieces prior to putting the table together. I was able to purchase the table for about $100 with free shipping, and I would be willing to pay twice as much for this nice table. Would definitely buy again, and will probably purchase more items from International Concepts.
