I really like using this desk! I appreciate that it came in a size that was narrower than most desks: I don’t have a lot of space. It was reasonable putting it together: just follow the included instructions. The crank is fun to operate, and the desk itself feels quite solid. I’m glad I saved money by avoiding an electric model. One thing to check before you buy: how high and how low the desk goes. I’m very happy with the height (I’m 6 feet tall) but I wish the desk would go 1 to 2 inches lower.The desk was delivered on time and undamaged. All the parts were there. I put the frame together myself in about 15 minutes, but when I tried to attach the desktop to the frame, the screw holes did not line up. I emailed the support address and asked if they might have sent me the wrong-sized crossbar. They asked for pictures, which I sent, and they explained that I had put the horizontal crossbar on incorrectly. When you put this desk frame together, do not slide the horizontal crossbar onto the metal arms in sides A and B where the screw holes are. Instead, flip the horizontal crossbar over so that the 3 screw holes line up against each other and put the screws in through the opening in the horizontal bar.Once I had the desk put together correctly, all went well. It is sturdy and holds my 2 monitors on a set of swing arms with room for my laptop, keyboard, mouse pad etc. I have ordered a separate sliding keyboard holder to fit below the desk so I can move my keyboard down lower. It takes me 30 cranks to raise the desk up to standing height (I am 5'6.5"). I am happy with this purchase.Holes do not align for desktop for any of the 4 screw holes, do not buy unless you own a drill and want to make your own holes. Desk top has major scratch and this arrived very late.All in all the desk works after you drill your own holes BUT I do not recommend this desk.I waited so long for it to arrive at this point there is no way that I would return due to being yet another hassle. The 2 day shipping was a flat out lie.Update: Seller contacted me and was very willing to fix the issues that I experienced. I do recommend this seller, the desk hole issues might have been due to instruction misinterpretation.Mostly this went together quickly and had all the holes in the right places. Do be sure you wait to tighten the screws completely until it is assembled. Had to loosen a few to get the final piece, the top to match the holes. The instructions are basic, and it took me a while to get the crank side (B) to fit in the crank drive and to figure out that you needed to extend the turning rod to get it into the the holes so that both sides of the table would lift or lower together. Once together, it was quite sturdy. You will probably want to add add little floor protector pads to the bottoms of the casters because it is quite heavy and may mar hardwood floor if you move it.This desk was better than I expected. I wanted to buy a desk with a crank, as opposed to electric just because they are more likely to stop working quicker. This desk met all my expectations! It is very sturdy, the wood top is beautiful. It was packaged well and neatly and literally only had 4 steps to put it together which took no time. I am very happy with my purchase!Easy to assemble although I wish they had labeled the parts themselves to take the guess work out of it. Looks slick and table top is very good to use a optical mouse on. Although the table top did come with a couple of small dents but it’s not a big deal. Good value for money and I can sleep well knowing there is no motor to give up on me.Exactly what my elderly mom needed; easily fits over both her wheelchair and her lazy boy lift chair.No more hassles wrangling TV tables around her feet & legs, or the wheels of her chair. Does not interfere at all with her legs even when she is fully reclined in her lift chair. We need to move it around a lot, and while it is def on the heavier side, it slides very easily and does not scratch the floor. Assembly was challenging and took me quite a while (solo), but that area is not my strong suit☺️ - would recommend 2 peeps for the task if possible. And bonus - plenty of room for a second person to pull up a chair and eat with her, do a manicure, work on a puzzle etc. - wish we found it sooner!This desk is one of my fave pieces of furniture
